Pax Old Boys

Non-profit alumni organisation uniting former students of Pax College

Overview

Pax Old Boys is a non-profit alumni organisation dedicated to uniting former students, preserving a shared legacy, and driving meaningful community engagement. The platform at www.paxoldboys.com provides a dedicated space for alumni to reconnect, network, and give back to the community that shaped them. Through collaborative initiatives and a strong digital presence, the mission is to foster lifelong fellowship and create a lasting, positive impact for future generations - including Project Pax 2035, a 10-year blueprint for institutional sustainability and academic excellence.

Problem

Alumni communities need more than informal social media groups. Without a trusted organisational home and a dedicated digital platform, reconnection, coordinated giving, and multi-generational fellowship are difficult to sustain at scale.

Solution

Designed and built the Pax Old Boys web platform (www.paxoldboys.com) as the organisation's digital presence: public storytelling for the alumni mission and Project Pax 2035, secure registration and authentication, and a member dashboard for alumni directory search, networking, and engagement.

Architecture

  • Public site for mission, fellowship, and Project Pax 2035 campaign narrative
  • Supabase-backed authentication (registration, login, secure sessions)
  • Protected alumni dashboard for directory and peer connection
  • Live digital presence at www.paxoldboys.com

Challenges

  • Expressing a non-profit alumni mission with clarity and institutional gravitas
  • Delivering secure membership flows for multi-generational alumni
  • Balancing public storytelling with private networking tooling

Lessons learned

  • Alumni platforms work best when fellowship, legacy, and practical utility are designed together
  • A durable web presence strengthens long-term community impact beyond social channels
  • Trust and accessibility are essential for multi-generational engagement
